The  Floating  World  is  a  traveling  gallery  exhibit that  juxtaposes  the  duality  of  the  outward image  of the  powerful  samurai  with  an  unseen  side,  through  a transitional journey  of  their  traditional  aesthetic  values, hierarchy,  and  rite  of  passage from their origins in warfare to the beginning of their decline under peaceful times.
